Archimedes, Hubby, & Doctor Grey

This family unit has really grown over the years.
Back in the day, it used to be just Doctor Grey and I against the world. I picked him up from the local animal shelter after just going for a visit (a dangerous thing to do) and he was so sweet and handsome. I didn't take him home just then but I kept thinking about him the whole time after I left. While checking the shelters page for info on how to adopt I saw that he was on the list to be euthanized the NEXT DAY. I was speechless and now stressed that I just condemed him due to my indecisiveness. Quick transition to back at the shelter same day with my $20 to bring him home! He's been my tiny troublemaker for ages and then I met my now husband.

Doctor was very much not a fan of him when we first started seeing each other. It was very much, "why are you trying to take up my side of the bed!?" vibes. He was jealous AF but little by little, the hubbys loving attention to him won his heart and now you'd swear I was the intruder into the relationship. They are so dang cute together!

After a few years, our trio was ready to bring in a new love. Hubby and I searched high and low to find a kitten we felt a connection with. After some time, he found a tiny baby scottish fold munchkin who we instantly fell into love with and he was (well still is) super sweet! We knew we needed him in our lives forever imediately. Doctor can be a bully sometime but they love each other. Archimedes is a little easily spooked but it's mainly because he is very small but he is a crazy boy who thinks he can fly the way he jumps around the house and down from things. It's very cute how curious he is about the world! For being so skittish, he always wants to know whats going on with every change around him or new thing he comes across. Everynight both of these boys hop into bed with us and we all cuddle pile to bed.

My hubby is the absolute best in the world. We met back just before the pandemic and our relationship grew until he popped the question back in 2022, just before we moved states to start a new adventure together. It's been a romance I never expected, especially at that time in the world. He is so creative, smart, sweet, and he always makes me laugh. I know that sounds a little cliche but its really fantastic to find these things in someone you can mesh with. We can spend the day cuddling and playing video games and its the best thing in the world.
